Because of all the demand.... Hereby another chapter of my time in the land of the long white cloud, New Zealand.
Actually, I will start with Australia. Right after I finished my last blog, I went with Hannah on a three hour flight to the neighbors. This week we fully embraced our time off work and also the mid-winter summer days.
The first day we started with a "fearless" hike until Hannah realized they got mad reptiles in the bush. To give you an idea, this ended up with Hannah walking in front of me, literally in the middle of the path, and every time the leaves rustled, the shivers went through her spine. The rest of the week we stuck to spotting Kangaroos & Koala's, of which we only saw the latter. Oh, and we saw Scooby Doo in Movie World, along with the actual fearless roller coasters.
Besides all the holiday fun, we also (had to) run to keep up with the marathon training schedule. As many of you might know, we will both be running 42 kilometers and a couple of extra meters the 29th of October. This to raise awareness for the Mental Health Foundation and because it is cool? We have been training a lot on marathons lately, mostly Netflix. But hey, in 1977 an 8 year old ran the NYC marathon. *Fact* *Fact*
Apart from the holiday and the running, it's been mostly working lately. After the Kulture Marketing anniversary, Remy and me left Auckland for a working road trip up north. Actually left Auckland twice, because he forgot his jacket. These 2 weeks we were very successful, probably also due to the fact that it's mostly low-income demographics. I can give you several examples of times we walked into a business to see a woman/man popping their head out of their sleeping bag to see who is there. They like savings.
Recently Hannah moved in with me in Auckland, literally one day before I went on another road trip to Palmerston North. Great timing.
This road trip almost got Tristan and me a free holiday to the Seychelles, if only we ended up signing the Council. Can't have everything unfortunately.
Next week I will be going to Rotorua with Remy, Sandeep, Kade & Maria. This is probably going to be my last road trip before I leave New Zealand. Glad I got to see most of New Zealand during working hours and through holidays.
Besides that, I am learning some Spanish with Duolingo and living healthy to prepare for the marathon. Even though Hannah
is way ahead in learning Dutch and I recently couldn't refrain myself from buying Hela Curry, I am trying. Oh, and sales is going well.
Sold my car for a couple of hundred more than I put it on the market for.
My time is New Zealand is really coming to an end. Couple more weeks here, a couple in Bali and I will be back home!

Miriam :
Ha Kevin,
Klinkt goed allemaal.
Groeten Miriam
